Beatrice Ong is to open a concept store on Newburgh Street in London's Soho. Always pushing the boundaries of beautiful shoemaking, Beatrix Ong is famous for making shoes comfortable enough to wear during the day and special enough for them to carry on through to the evening.

As well as the current AW/09 collection of shoes, purses and bags, the Newburgh Quarter concept store will also stock the limited edition customised Nike iD Blazer Trainers and the luxury range of travel cases made in collaboration with Globe Trotter.

Beatrix Ong’s collection for Autumn / Winter 2009 is guaranteed to banish those Winter blues, the collection celebrates all things fairy inspired and fantastical. Bursts of colour and texture abound with hot pink, purple, scarlet, luxurious suedes and exotic skins such as cyber python and holographic lizard. Metallic patents, perspex accents and even origami inspired bows feature. Styles are classic stilettos, hidden and visible platforms, flat pumps, shoe boots and Victorian inspired kick flare heeled lace-up boots. This is a collection that boasts something for every discerning woman who likes a little bit of whimsy thrown in for good measure!
