Beaumanoir continues recruitment

French retail group Beaumamoir plans to recruit 400 to 500 staff this year. Last year it expanded its workforce by 500.

With approximately 385 stores in France, the company trades under the Cache-Cache and Patrice Breal brand names. Last year it purchased the Scottage brand, which is geared towards women of 45 and over.

Beaumanoir, which is based in St Malo, generated a turnover of €400 million last year and expects to achieve a turnover in 2006 of €500 million.
