Rebecca Minkoff’s offshoot menswear brand, Ben Minkoff, has confirmed that it is set to expand the brand, named after the designer’s grandfather, starting with a range of men’s shoes.
Founded in 2011, the vintage-inspired menswear brand is gearing up for expansion with the help of Rebecca’s brother, Uri, who is CEO of her eponymous label, following his appointment as creative director of Ben Minkoff.
The line currently includes bags and small leather goods such as folios and wallets as well as travel bags, but for autumn/winter 2015, Ben Minkoff will introduce a range of shoes. The footwear collection will feature dress and casual styles, including trainers, as well as boots, and will be priced between 150 and 300 dollars.
The brand is currently stocked in Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue and East Dane, and according to Fashionista, when Rebecca Minkoff’s LA flagship opens in May the label will have its own dedicated retail concept with its own entrance.
