BHS launches new logo

High street chain BHS has launched a new logo, which contains the store's name in full underneath, British Home Stores.
The new logo reveal comes as the company continues discussions with potential backers in the hopes of securing additional funding for its turnaround scheme. A spokesman for Retail Acquisitions previously confirmed the discussions, adding that the refinancing would be used to "help accelerate the turnaround plan for the UK business."
According to Drapers, Sir Philip Green, who sold BHS to Retail Acquisitions for one pound, previously sent a letter to suppliers warning that Arcadia Group would no longer be housing BHS merchandise - a move which was expected to occur early next year but has been pushed forward. A spokesman from BHS has confirmed that the store always planned to separate all functions from Arcadia, noting that this process was now underway.
