For the second Blue Bella Story collection, jeans brand Wrangler joined forces with Swedish illustrator Jesper Waldersten. Waldersten made his name through his contributions to the Dagens Nyheter, one of the national Swedish newspapers. For the paper he draw numerous illustration, wherewith he won several prizes. With an art-directors background in the advertising industry, Walderston previously collaborated with brands such as Absolut Vodka and Filippa K.

For the Blue Bella graphics, Waldersten took his inspiration from the 90s, which resembles in the neon colours and bold graphics. Normally Waldersten leaves a bright palette behind, he prefers to work in black and white. Keeping the favourite colour of his daughter Blanca – blue - in mind made stimulated his creative process.

The Blue Bella range focuses on integrating a modern style of the over 100 years old jeans label Wrangler. Outstanding artists who have an affinity with the brand designed the exclusive premium collection. For the first Blue Bella Story, the collection teamed up with graphic designer Aya Takano from Japan.

Waldersten’s Blue Bella Story features a denim range, cashmere T-shirts and silk shirts, which will be in store from March 2008.
