British men's wear label Thom Sweeney is scheduled to roll out at Bergdorf Goodman in August for an exclusive for the luxury department store.

“Every time we travel to New York for our bespoke trunk shows we always make time for a visit to Bergdorf Goodman. It’s an iconic retail store, one of the best in the world, and for us it epitomizes that special uptown Manhattan vibe," said co-designer Thom Whiddett.

"We love how they edit the brands to make every product feel special. For Thom Sweeney, it is a real honour to partner with such an esteemed retailer and we plan to make this a long lasting and fruitful relationship,” said co-designer Luke Sweeney.

The store will house a selection of tailored clothing, separates, and outerwear from the brand's fall collection. Price points for the collection range from 230 dollars for a sleeveless merino vest to 3290 dollars for a navy cashmere overcoat.

In addition, there will also be a grey flannel, three-piece suit created by the two designers.

Although the market is tough for luxury brands right now, a specialty store like Thom Sweeney might do well because it fills a whole in the market for British tailored men's wear, which there isn't a lot of.

The duo launched their brand in 2007, and became known for their soft textures and cuts. Both designers were Savile Row apprentices.

According to their website, the label is geared towards discerning men who want contemporary style as well as the highest craftsmanship in tailoring. They offer made-to-measure options, and they recently launched their ready-to-wear collection.

Their bespoke services are offered exclusively at their boutique on 1-2 Weighouse Street, Mayfair in London.

Aside from their partnership with Bergdorf Goodman, the brand's products are also available on Mrporter.com.

Although the brand started off in America with just trunk shows, this partnership with Bergdorf Goodman will hopefully get the attention of more retailers to help them expand their business.
