The Birmingham Alliance has completed the final phase of the Bullring development with the opening of Bullring Link. The £25m redevelopment of the former Wades furniture store building is part of the Bullring estate and connects to the main Bullring scheme via a covered mall leading to the Debenhams department store on Bullring's upper level to the east, and to The Mall Pallasades and Birmingham's New Street Station to the west.

Anchored by a two-level store for fashion retailer TK Maxx, its first in the city centre, Bullring Link comprises twenty new shops and catering units, including the Fragrance Shop and Shoe Zone.

Sheila King, Hammerson's director of UK retail leasing responsible for Bullring Link said: "Bullring Link is a key addition to Birmingham's retail offer and has been designed to provide smaller independents and regional operators with the chance to benefit from Bullring's success, which has seen 41.3 million visitors to the scheme to date.
