Burberry to Snapchat live photoshoot

Heritage label Burberry is continuing to use social media to promote the brand to a younger audience by hosting a live photoshoot on Snapchat this Thursday, October 22 in real time.

The fashion house has tapped photographer Mario Testino to shoot its spring/summer 2016 campaign and he will also create exclusive content including images and videos for Burberry’s Snapchat fans.

In a brief snapchat, Burberry stated that Testino will publish content in real time of the shoot starting at 5pm London time, where the images and video will be viewable for only 24 hours.

This campaign follows Burberry’s partnership with the social media network for its Prorsum spring/summer 2016collection, it premiered the looks a day before the runway show, and was featured as a Live Story on the platform that showed both crowdsourced and brand-created content covering the show.
