Calling all budding fashion entrepreneurs

Fashion professionals are invited to apply for a space on a series of free workshops run by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) and hosted by fashion consultant David Jones this month. Part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, the workshops are designed to help growing businesses excel in areas such as business and financial planning.
Fashion with David Jones has proved a popular workshop since its announcement early this year. Jones has worked for international brands such as Aquascutum and Wallis, as a fashion consultant for designers including Karen Millen and Matthew Williamson and has also enjoyed some time as the president of the Clothing and Footwear Institute.
Hot off the press are a series of export-focused free workshops hosted by fashion consultant Thierry Bayle of Global Fashion Management in July. Fashion in the USA and Europe is also run by UKTI and part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
Spaces are limited on both workshops.
UKTI will also be running a number of trade missions with its fashion partners to Japan, Korea and Scandinavia, as well as seminars and ‘meet the buyer’ events around London Fashion Week. For further information visit the UKTI website.
