For a taste of the tropical and exotic head to Alfies Antique Market's rooftop party at the Rooftop Restaurant in Marylebone on 23 July. Alfie's dealers will be there to celebrate the revival of the South Sea influence in fashion and lifestyle with a Hawaiian-style shindig. From 3-6 pm, enjoy refreshing Sabai - a blend of wine and hibiscus - tropical canapés and South Sea entertainment.

In response to a renewed interest in South Sea influcences in fashion, such as the use tropical prints by the likes of Gharani Strok, Alfies Antique Market is focusing on this trend. As a popular tourist destination since the 1900s, Hawaiian artifacts and souvenirs have made their way to colder climates and many of these keepsakes are now available at Alfie's. Think Hula Girls, clothing and jewellery, original posters, prints, furniture and souvenir books from the 1960s.

So if you have some time make sure you take a look. There's bound to be something there that will transport you to the South Seas.
