London's fashion business incubator Centre for Fashion Enterprise (CFE) has selected nine businesses to support in its first fashion technology incubation scheme, the CFE FrontRow Fash-Tech Programme, supported by the University of the Arts London.
The programme will run across three months and has been designed to support the emerging fashion tech start-ups with a series of workshops and bespoke one-to-one business support, whilst also encouraging collaborations with different industry sectors.
At the end of the programme in July, the nine businesses will pitch to a panel of entrepreneurs and industry investors for the chance to win a 5,000 pound cash prize.
The nine selected businesses are: a bi-lingual e-commerce platform Alt. A theft proof accessories brand High Spirit Bags, which features a unique patented zipping designs in order to protect your possessions from theft and loss; an app that allows brides-to-be to create their own wedding dress, Prim & Clover; a technical sleepwear label Sleep Deep, which aims to improve the quality of people’s sleep; a curated underwear marketplace The Lingerie Lab; and XOB, a fashion/lifestyle brand designed for 'generation digital', which combines wearable technology, fashion product and apps.
