Charity Travel Bag

Last December, Armstrong first presented the idea of creating the 'ultimate travel item', something that would 'lift the travel experience to a higher, more sophisticated, more luxurious level'. Four months later in April 2007, Armstrong and Louis Vuitton met up to discuss things further.
Armstrong comments: "This has been a fascinating and fun project, allowing me to peek inside the Vuitton ateliers in Paris and see how much craft still goes into their made -to -order products. I am thrilled with the results - and with the entire process, which is something journalists don't often get to see. I hope it will raise a lot for CLIC Sargent."
The Ultimate Travel Bag will be auctioned via on-line and telephone bidding in December. 100% of the net proceeds will go directly towards helping the children with cancer and leukaemia and their families that the CLIC Sargent looks after. The starting reserve is set at £10000, or about $20500. The Ultimate Travel Bag will be sold to the highest bidder (or, in the event that identical bids are received - to the first of the highest identical bids received).
