London Fashion Week designer Christopher Kane has unveiled his eponymous label's first ad campaign for his Spring/Summer 2016 collection.

The début ad campaign was shot by rising photography Harley Weir, styled by one of the most influential stylists, Joe McKenna and stars British model Alice Buckingham. In the main shot, she models a multicoloured fringed dress from the women's wear SS '16 collection. The campaign was shot on a basic indoor set in London, which complements the graphic colours and shapes in the collection.

"I look forward to experimenting and building my brand image through this medium; it’s an exciting time for us," said Kane to WWD on the campaign. The campaign launch, which is set to feature in March editions of international fashion publications, such as Vogue next month, comes ahead of the launch of the Scottish designer first e-commerce platform.
