When CIFF closed the doors for the F/W 2016-17 show on Friday, February 5th, it was with praises and huge gratification of what is truly looking to be the strongest and most qualitative show to date.

The show can proudly report a record 10% increase of unique visitors to the Copenhagen show with visiting buyers, press and industry professionals from all over the world.

“Our hard work and dedication towards our creative and talented exhibitors, and taking the time to form close relationships to the best buyers and press from around the world has paid off.

Not only was the show sold out before Christmas, but more importantly the numbers of buyers from The UK, Germany and Norway showed an impressive increase, all above 30%. This season we can really say that we have reached our goal of pushing Copenhagen into the international spotlight and creating a globally relevant destination,” says Kristian W. Andersen, Director and Creative Director of CIFF, CIFF RAVEN, KIDS and SHOWROOMS.

This season CIFF and CIFF RAVEN sold out already in December 2015, resulting in a jam-packed high quality show and the feedback from buyers, press and brands has been overwhelmingly positive.

“Other trade shows I've visited in the past have felt dull, repetitive and pretty uninspiring, so it was great to see the guys at CIFF doing something different, and trying to inject some energy into proceedings with the talks and live performances. The venue itself was great, as was the well-curated portfolio of brands in CIFF RAVEN and its impressive to see the sheer scale of ambition for future events and the surrounding area. I look forward to returning next season.”- Charlie Teasdale, Deputy Style Editor at UK Esquire.

"CIFF this season was great, the curation of the brands involved was fantastic, and the opportunity to meet with representatives of the brands was very exciting. And outside of that, getting to meet the people behind CIFF and spend time with them was excellent, and the idea of the city is very intriguing."- Megan Munro, Style Editor at Complex.

“Given it was my first visit to CIFF, and knowing that it was a trade show, what I expected was a meandering maze of rails beneath a canopy of signage. However what I encountered was vastly different, both in style and scale. The product was merchandised in a way I’d expect to see in a B2C environment, rather than the B2B style I had been previously accustomed. Visually engaging, well organized and thoughtfully sectioned, CIFF - in my opinion at least - has redefined the term trade show."- Eli Ankutse, Editor-in-Chief at JOSHUA's Magazine.

“The exhibition was really well laid out, VIP lounge a great facility and the location next to the hotel could not be easier.”- Bridget Cosgrave, Fashion & Buying Director at Boutique 1.

“CIFF continues to go from strength to strength, never resting on its past success and continually looking to improve, without destroying its core commercial foundations. Like a well made cake, it is made up of layer upon layer of tasty treats, all different, yet complimenting each other. One of the best curated shows of the season by far!!!”- Dylan Ross, Lead Buyer Trend and Nordics at Zalando.

“We are happy with the fair. All booked clients and prospects that we had on our list showed up, and overall business was good. We had great feedback from clients, suppliers and competitors that our stand looked good, and that we add value to the fair in general. Clients tell us that the fair is getting better and better, and that it’s well organized.”- Stian Grimsæth, Founder of Freudian Kicks.

"Once again Kristian W. Andersen and his team took the concept of a fashion fair to a new level. We had 3 busy days with a lot of attention from both local and international buyers being present with Bjørn Borg and SOS in both the Urban area and CIFF Raven. Especially CIFF Raven felt very innovative and new. On top of that we wrote orders with 120 existing customers saving us a lot of time in the showroom and on the road."- Bo Storm, COO of BB Distribution Denmark (Björn Borg and SOS).

We look forward to seeing you all in August!
