Clockwork Orange increases selling space

Clockwork Orange is trebling its shop surface to about 50,000 square feet. The Northern Irish young fashion chain will be able to provide customers with a broader selection of lifestyle products.
The 10-store-strong chain is expanding the average size of its stores from 1,500 square feet to 5,000 square feet. "With larger sites we can add footwear and accessories from brands like Diesel, Miss Sixty and Replay," managing director Sam Morrison told Drapers. "This will give us a proper lifestyle mix and drive more sales per person."
The stores in Ballymena and Belfast have already been expanded or relocated to larger locations. The store in Newry will be moved later this year and the Coleraine store will be expanded after conversion of its stockroom.
The chain will also open an outlet stores at The Outlet at Bridgewater Park near Belfast. "We've grown to the extent that we needed somewhere to get rid of end-of-season stock, and the park's location is almost halfway between Belfast and Dublin means it's an appealing spot."
