Cold Method expands further

Amsterdam based brand Cold Method is about to enter the US market with headquarters in New York in July 2008 and in Canada through a distribution partnership with Throat Threads Apparel in Spring 2009. The company is growing rapidly with 560 selling point spread over 14 countries. Creative Director Alex Jansen of Cold Method says: “Cold Method accentuates one’s personality making men look discreetly well-dressed. We create exclusiveness and affordable luxury in a capsule wardrobe with a limited number of essential pieces to fit a men’s total way of life.”

Cold Method participated at the Magic tradeshow in February 2008 and caused quite a stir with its approach towards affordable European fashion and its success to launch the brand in the American market. The company works according to a ‘9 aesthetics’ philosophy which provides a retails concepts that enables customers to easily mix and match their look throughout the line. Cold Method is a contemporary collection that focuses on T-shirts, denim, wovens, pants, knits, suits, cardigans, coats, accessories and home. The brand produces a fast turn over by offering ten deliveries to keep the consumer excited, renewed and supplying basic style all year around.

Recently, Cold Method expanded in China and Southeast Asia. A 20-year exclusive deal with retail China was recently completed with the introduction and development of retail channels for Cold Method flagships, shop-in-shops and e-stores. Cold Method is looking to open another 53 retails points over the next three years in China, Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore. Further more its first concession store will be launched at London based department store Selfridges in August of this year.
