Selected for its sustainability and vision of future luxury, Commuun is the only fashion brand chosen to participate the 1.618 Sustainable Luxury Fair. The event is supported by the French Minister of Culture and the WWF, and takes place at Palais de Tokyo in Paris from 6-10th May 2010.

Established in 2005 by Kaito Hori and Iku Furudate, Commuun has shown its collection during Paris Fashion Week. Since its debut, the garments of Commuun are exclusively made of natural and organic fabrics. This fundamental approach comes from the designers’ concern for environment and other people in the society.

Only eco-friendly fabrics are used for the Cruise Collection SS10 featuring strong simple shapes drawn from natural structures. Commuun is stocked at stores such as L’éclaireur in Paris, Dover Street Market in London, and Isetan in Tokyo. In 2007, Commuun was awarded with the LVMH prize and Longchamp prize for A.N.D.A.M awards supported by French Minister of Culture.
