Judged by Cosmopolitan’s readers and fashion experts, the Cosmopolitan Fashion Awards celebrated the best in fashion retailing this week. The event took place at The Roof Gardens in Kensington and represented every element of fashion, from partywear and footwear, to the most ethical retailer and the online retailer of the year.
For 2010 the winners included Hottest Partywear for Karen Millen; Most Ethical Retailer for People Tree; New Look took home the Best for Bags award; and Accessorize was awarded for the Best Jewellery. Other retailers awarded by Cosmopolitan included Evans, River Island, Evans, Nike, Boohoo, D&G, Next, Guess and Asos.
“Cosmopolitan’s mantra is ‘being the best you can be’ and for most women this is about looking good and feeling confident,” said Justine Southall, Publishing Director of Cosmopolitan. “Our readers buy us for our fashion content and as a result we have increased the number of, and investment in, our fashion pages. Our style content combined with our dedicated Fashion Awards feed directly into this and provide our readers with the ultimate guide to the best retailers across the market from the hottest party looks to the best workwear and designer brand.”
The winners will be featured in the April issue of Cosmopolitan. The magazine, published by The National Magazine Company, has a circulation of 430,353.
