David Koma x Malone Souliers

London-based footwear label Malone Souliers and designer David Koma are set to unveil their exclusive collaborative footwear collection at Koma's namesake fall '15 show during London Fashion Week next month.

Mary Alice Malone, Malone Souliers creative director, teamed up with David Koma to create their one-of-a-kind womens footwear collection, which is said to bring together the best of the duos designer aesthetic.

Managing director at Mal one Souliers, Roy Luwolt, explained how he and Malone were encouraged to work with the London-based designer because the two brands "have such different design aesthetics." Koma, whose tight and figure hugging designs are thought to be "awesomely fierce" would be matched to Malone Souliers "refined femininity."

"[Koma] likes his girls in very high heels," pointed out Malone, whilst Koma added "The sheer quality and painstaking attention to detail of Malone Souliers, coupled with a certain subtle irreverence caught my attention. I am excited about this collaboration."

The footwear collaborative collection will be sold as a capsule collection with Malone Souliers fall '15 range.
