Designer debutant

London Fashion Week sees the debut of several young designers and Alexandra Groover is among them. Originally from California, Groover moved to London, where she developed her skills in the studios of Alexander McQueen and Zandra Rhodes. After which she decided to launch her own company.
With her two collections, Black Label and Grey Label, Groover fulfills her need for expression through sculptural and textural manipulations of fabric. Black label is a small capsule collection of formal dresses inspired by the architecture of shells. By mixing wool with bias cut silk, Groover creates dresses with a classic and avant-garde impact. Her grey Label is more focused on wearability, and exists of everyday wardrobe essentials.
Designer platform Beyond the Valley discovered her talent already and stocks Alexandra Groover in their London boutique.
