Destiny's Child Fashions

It's always a good thing in business to stick to what you know. That is what pop diva Beyonce and her mother Tina Knowles must have thought when they decided that their fashion label, House of Dereon, would provide exclusive wardrobes for the members of Beyonce's female group, Destiny's Child, for their upcoming tour. Destiny Fulfilled is taking place this month and has been highly anticipated.

Tina Knowles and her team of designers have created sixty original costumes for Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams to wear during the tour, which will consist of performances in forty US and thirty-five international cities.

The costumes, complete with accessories, range from eveningwear to sporty ensembles. Everything has been made from the most luxurious fabrics such as imported leather, stretch silk, silk charmeuse, crystal mesh and silk chiffon. Hundreds of hours were spent on the custom finishing and detailed beading with Swarovski Crystal.

"Performing is not only about sharing my musical passion, but it's also about expressing my individuality. By having Destiny's Child wearing House of Dereon on the tour, I am able to express my creativity and love of music and fashion," said Beyonce.

House of Dereon teamed up with Swarovski, the largest manufacturer of cut crystal in the world, for this venture. "Swarovski is thrilled to have a creative partnership with the House of Dereon and to have the stars of Destiny's Child sparkle on stage with Swarovski crystal," said Nadja Swarovski, Vice President of International Communications for the firm.
