Footwear retailer Dune London is gearing up to open its flagship store on London's Oxford Street, which is said to open on April 11.
The store is said to become Dune largest store to date, taking over a 2,200 square foot store at 490 Oxford Street. It will be the seventh store to feature Dune's new store concept, offering both womens footwear as well as mens and in-store exclusives.
The flagship store opening follows shortly after the refurbishment of Dune's store on Argyll Street earlier this month. The store previously reported 37 percent year-on-year sales growth in the first week of its grand re-opening reported Drapers.
Daniel Rubin, chief executive at Dune commented: "Although we have a store in Covent Garden, for us Oxford Street is the premier shopping destination and, located between Selfridges and Primark, the site is a magnet to a wide range of international shoppers."
The footwear retailer is also set to open a store in St.Pancras station this May and as well as plans to refit other retail locations in the country.
"We now have a strong men's and accessories offer and have seen significant growth in these areas in the new larger concept stores. We have another two refits planned in Sheffield Meadowhall and Gateshead's MetroCentre this year," added Rubin.
Dune is also said to be searching for a retail location in New York to open its first US store later this year, after the opening of a wholesale New York showroom in February.
