Electric Onitsuka Tiger

On September 15th, the forerunner of footwear brand ASICS, Onitsuka Tiger is launching a limited edition 'Electric Tiger Land Sunotore 72' trainer in black and white. The specially developed fabric on the trainers glow in the dark under UV lighting and reveal the Tokyo skyline.

Created by Koi club member Seiji Yogo, the design is based on the iconic Sunotore design, which means 'snow training' in Japanese. The original shoe made its debut at 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympics, as the official footwear of the Japanese national team. All original features have been retained including a bag construction on the tongue to prevent snow getting inside

Each pair of 'Electric Tiger Land' Sunotore 72s will come with a glow in the dark cotton bag that follows the cityscape design of the footwear.
