Elle just announced an International Fashion and Luxury Management Program in association with MIT and in collaboration with Universidad Complutense of Madrid. The company just announced its six-month initiative as a new innovative academic program that will start this December.

Elle designed the program to help train executives and future leaders of the fashion and luxury industry. The program is set to provide its students with a better perspective on the business side of fashion. The program will offer online courses and four onsite modules that will be in Madrid, Paris, New York, MIT Sloan's campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The module in Madrid will focus on fast fashion and Spain's role in the fashion industry. The Paris module will examine haute couture and the luxury side of fashion and retail. The NY module's focus will be on the fashion market as well as marketing and branding. The MIT Sloan module will highlight innovation and digital emergence in the fashion industry.

These modules will also have key speakers come to teach participants. These leaders include CEO of Louis Vuitton Michael Burke, CEO of Christian Dior Sidney Toledo, and CEO of Clarins Christian Courtin-Clarins. These successful people in fashion have accepted to join the Paris module in order to help the program. Launching December 2017, the international program will run until May of next year.
