Italian fashion label Ermanno Scervino is looking to target a younger customer base with the launch of its new contemporary ready-to-wear line, Ermanno, according to reports in WWD.
The line, which will launch during Milan Fashion Week later this month, will be produced and distributed under license by Italian manufacturing company Spazio 6, and will have “much lower prices” than the mainline range.
"This new brand reflects our desire to have a glamorous, contemporary line targeting a younger public compared to that of our main line," Toni Scervino, CEO of Ermanno Scervino, told WWD.
The first collection is inspired by the Seventies and features wide-leg trousers, pussy-bow blouses, bootcut denim, chunky cable knits and wide-brimmed floppy hats, as well as outerwear pieces.
Full details of the contemporary label will be unveiled during Milan Fashion Week.
