Miraculous Corp, the joint venture between Mediawan and ZAG, has announced a global fashion and design strategy anchored by an initial partnership with ESMOD Paris. Under the agreement, which was supported by TF1 Licensing, second-year Fashion Design students at the Paris institution will engage in a curriculum-integrated design challenge starting this fall. The initiative leverages the global reach of the Miraculous entertainment brand to create academic and practical opportunities for emerging fashion design talent.

The design challenge integrates directly into ESMOD’s Stylist degree program, requiring students to explore collection design through creative research, pattern making, textile exploration, and garment construction, alongside 2D and 3D digital design tools. Students will reinterpret the visual identity and storytelling elements of the Miraculous universe—inspired by lead character Marinette Dupain-Cheng’s fictional ambition as a Paris-based designer—through a high-end fashion perspective. Miraculous Corp plans to expand this strategic focus across educational partnerships, brand collaborations, exhibitions, and digital space extensions.

This collaboration illustrates the growing integration between entertainment intellectual property and fashion higher education. For ESMOD Paris, founded in 1841, embedding commercial IP into its academic framework provides students with real-world design constraints and industry-aligned experience. Simultaneously, the partnership provides Miraculous Corp a strategic entry point into the global fashion market, transforming media franchise licensing into an educational and brand-building platform.
