Esprit helps the children of Haiti

Expressing its sympathy to the people in Haiti, lifestyle label Esprit will host an international fundraising campaign on Saturday 23rd in Esprit retail stores. For each purchase made, Esprit will donate one euro to the victims of the Haiti earthquake.

The total amount raised will go to SOS Children's Villages Haiti via the ‘Esprit Cares Trust’ in Hong Kong. This will assist aid workers on the ground, as well as ensure the long-term well being of children in Haiti. Providing psychological help to children who may have been traumatised or orphaned is of particular importance, as is providing them with safe accommodation and searching for any remaining relatives.

SOS Children's Villages is an international non-governmental social development organisation especially focused on children without parental care and children at risk of loosing parental care. SOS Children's Villages was founded in 1949 in Austria.
