French outdoor lifestyle brand Aigle, the brand best known for their rubber boots, has named the trio behind Études Studio as its new artistic director. Auréline Arbet, Jérémie Egry, and José Lamali will now be the creative forces behind the brand.

Aigle is owned by MF Brands Group, which also owns Lacoste, The Kooples, and Gant. Aigle wanted to formally appoint creative directors to their brand as part of their commitment to make the brand more sustainable.

Beginning in 2021, Aigle is also planning on introducing more fashion collaborations. In the past, the brand has collaborated with Koché and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. The Études Studio designers have a track record for successful collaborations, having designed a successful collaboration for Adidas.

Aigle currently has 374 stores around the world. The company also has a resale platform called Second Souffle, in addition to a clothing recycle service.
