Evans, the UK’s leading plus size retailer, and curvaceous music icon Beth Ditto, from the band Gossip, have collaborated to launch a vibrant new fashion collection, just in time for the London Lovebox music festival. The capsulre range, shot by leading fashion photographer Rankin, launches in July and reflects Beth’s inimitable style and flair. Available from a size 14-32 it shows strong influences from the 80s, combined with key design solutions and unique interchangeable pieces that incorporate graphic designs, embellishment and draping.

Commenting on the exciting collaboration Beth says: “Designing this line is a dream come true. I wanted to make something special, just for us, something never seen before. I hope the clothes inspire you to think outside the box. After all, boxes are square and in more ways than one we are not.”

Beth has worked closely with Evans Head of Design, Lisa Marie Peacock, to create a collection that is wearable and fun. Beth’s influence can be seen in the various designs such as the two tone domino print double layer dress through to an over sized ‘kitty’ print tee that can be worn loose or belted over leggings.

There are key statement pieces which include a flamboyant purple sequin batwing top and beautiful stain glass printed prom dress. The launch also coincides perfectly for the British festival season, with key pieces that will be a fashion staple such as the poplin parka, black suede studded slouch bag and spot print hoody and cape.

To celebrate the launch of the new Beth Ditto at evans collection there is a dedicated micro site, bethdittoatevans.co.uk, where you can see all the latest news and gossip from Beth as well as buy the must-have pieces. The range is also available in the following stores: Birmingham, Glasgow, Liverpool, Nottingham, Brighton, Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester, Meadowhall, Cardiff, London Marble Arch, Dublin, Plymouth, Belfast, Bluewater, Bristol and White City.
