Fashion according to Posh

Victoria 'Posh' Beckham has her own set of fashion rules, which she has chosen to share with the rest of us in Glamour magazine. The diva has some decidedly down to earth and out of character advice which she chooses to impart on us.

The biggest shocker is her fashion inspiration: Audrey Hepburn. I cannot imagine the eternally elegant Ms. Hepburn suffering breast implants and showing as much skin as Mrs. Beckham does. Which brings us to her next pearl of wisdom: Don't let it all hang out; it's much sexier to leave a little to the imagination. A great piece of advice, but it's definitely of the 'do as I say, don't do as I do' variety.

In the article, Victoria says that Stella McCartney jumper dresses "are a godsend for when you're not feeling particularly great about yourself." Obviously, not everyone's budget will allow this splurge, so head towards the nearest Topshop for your own version.

Posh also advises customising clothes and cuts up Gap sweaters for a better fit. The brand's T-shirts are also a favourite. "I also wear their T-shirts inside out with a pair of my jeans and a fabulous pair of sunglasses. For me, that's a look that just can't go wrong." Other gems include shopping in New York and Japan, investing in timeless classics, paying attention to your underwear and trusting in the opinion of a few friends.
