Fashion East reveals SS16 women's wear lineup

Caitlin Price, Richard Malone and This is The Uniform are the three latest emerging designers to receive support from Fashion East, a non-profit support scheme, and present their collections during the upcoming London Fashion Week.
The three brands will show their Spring/Summer 2016 collections during a presentation on September 19, with Price showing her designs for the second time under the Fashion East umbrella. The Central Saint Martins (CSM) MA graduate previously debuted her Autumn/Winter 2015 collection in February. Malone and This is The Uniform will be making their London Fashion Week debut as part of Fashion East. Malone, a graduate from CSM BA fashion programme, was also the winner of the LVMH Grand Prix scholarship in 2013, whilst Jenna Young, the designer behind This is The Uniform is a fine art textiles graduate from Goldsmiths University.
"There is a freshness to this season’s lineup; all 3 designers are strong-minded individuals and their girl/woman knows what she’s about," commented Fashion East Director Lulu Kennedy MBE. "I’m delighted to be working with them and am enjoying the presentation format – the creativity and freedom is energizing." The trio of designers was hand picked by Fashion East panel of buyers, editors and stylists and are set to receive financial sponsorship. ongoing business mentoring and a spot in top international sales showroom in Paris.
This season celebrates Fashion East 15th year as well as 12 years of headline support from Topshop. Former Fashion East winners include Jonathan Saunders, House of Holland, Roksanda Ilincic, Simone Rocha and Marques’Almeida.
