London club night BoomBox and New York originated dance night Misshapes present their picture books of the club scene changing the face of fashion.Over a period of six years, photographers Karl Lagerfeld and Ryan McGinley captured the portraits of the fashionable visitors of the New York club night Misshapes. A selection of 3000 images is compiled in one book and represent the fashion of the NYC club scene.

The night Misshapes is not only known in the Big Apple, its fashion and music has no boundaries and expended over the ocean towards London. British fashion designer Henry Holland and Gareth Pugh got inspired by the directional fashion and used different elements in their designs. Alongside pretty portraits and fashion faces, the Misshapes photographers pictured creative types like the Klaxons, The Horrors, Patrick Wolf, Sienna Miller and M.I.A.

Legendary London club night BoomBox teamed up with M.A.C. Cosmetics and presented the BoomBox Book during London Fashion Week. Richard Mortimer organised the first edition of BoomBox in June 2006 and soon it became the fashion dance night of London. Friends and regulars of BoomBox contributed to the publication and namely resident photographer Alistair Allan made its fabulous dressed visitors look even more strong and striking.
