Fashion Summit 2009

Already in its 9th year, Fashion Summit is a 2-day business conference for trade press and fashion and style forecasting service. The Summit is an industry forum with senior representatives from brands and retailers converging to discuss prominent business issues, it’s organised by WGSN and Drapers.

Fashion Summit is supported and endorsed by the British Fashion Council, and will be attended by 200 choice delegates from multiple and independent retailers, an array of fashion brands, consultants and key industry professionals. This year, the Summit is taking place at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel on Cadogan Place and a host of designers are taking stage, and experts such as Barbara Hulanicki, Diane von Furstenberg, Lulu Guinness, Giles Deacon, Betty Jackson, Amy Molyneaux & Percy Parker of PPQ, Harold Tillman, Hilary Alexander, Rebekah Roy, Nick Robertson, Marigay McKee, Sir Stuart Rose, Tom Chapman, Mary Homer, Sarah Curran and Colin McDowell are amongst the speakers, panellists and advisory board members.

The industry event will feature interviews, open discussions and debates will touch on nurturing emerging talent, fashion marketing and branding, online fashion retail, consumer insight, ethics and sustainability, and trends for SS10 and AW10/11.
