On the 17th November 2009 the Fashion Summit 2009 will take place at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel. The two-day fashion business event is chaired by Lauretta Roberts, and delegates will have the opportunity to interact with renowned designers and industry professionals including Diane von Furstenberg, Lulu Guinness, Maria Grachvogel, Barbara Hulanicki, Betty Jackson, Harold Tillman, Hilary Alexander, Rebekah Roy, Nick Robertson, Paula Reed, Marigay McKee, Sir Stuart Rose, Jess Cartner-Morley, Leon Bailey-Green, Bridget Cosgrave, Mary Homer, Sarah Curran, Anthony Thompson, Colin McDowell. Sandy Black from the London College of Fashion has also joined the ranks and will be talking about the future of fashion.
Alongside senior representatives from brands and retailers discussing business issues, the Summit will host a fashion presentation on the evening of the 17th with a mix of pieces from all involved. Ghost, DVF, Matches, Jenny Packham, Jaeger. The Fashion Summit is supported by the British Fashion Council, and will be attended by over 200 delegates.
