London’s design and production exhibition FashionExpo will return in November for more. Following last year’s success, the fashion fair will offer visitors a one-day experience with catwalk shows including the Profile designer show and Platform manufacturer show, a Business Support Zone and workshops from industry experts.

FashionExpo is organised by the City Fringe Partnership and funded by the London Development Agency.

The Business Design Centre will play host to emerging fashion talent, providing a platform for over 80 London-based designers and manufacturers to promote their collections and quality of production skills to retailers. Retailers benefit from sourcing locally, reducing their carbon footprint and ensuring quick supply for in-season buying and production suited to small runs.

Sarah Purvis, Deputy Director for exhibition organisers the City Fringe Partnership, comments: “With around 21,000 people employed in the industry across London, we see FashionExpo as a new, collaborative and ethical way of doing business in the capital. FashionExpo unites the different segments of the industry - design, production and retail - making them more productive, providing new routes to market, promoting local production and sharing insider tips for small business growth.”

FashionExpo is taking place for its second year. Last year 60 exhibitors were on show and the fair received support from retail giants Debenhams, Hobbs, TopShop and Whistles.
