On November 19th, FashionExpo will return to London’s Business Design Centre for the second time with model and journalist Laura Bailey hosting the exhibition's exclusive gala evening. FashionExpo unites London based designers and production units with retail buyers. The one-day event organized by the City Fringe Partnership and funded by the London Development Agency, will include catwalk shows for designers and manufacturers, a Business Support Zone and workshops from industry experts such as fashion journalist Karen Kay, British designer Hannah Marshall and Stephen Mongan from Topshop.

FashionExpo provides a platform for over 80 London-based designers and manufacturers to promote their collections and production skills to retailers. Retailers benefit from sourcing locally, reducing their carbon footprint and ensuring quick supply for in-season buying and production suited to small runs. A glamourous gala evening will conclude the event with a catwalk production show and awards ceremony presented by retail sponsors Topshop, Hobbs and Debenhams.

Sarah Purvis, Deputy Director for exhibition organisers the City Fringe Partnership, comments: “With around 21,000 people employed in the industry across London, we see FashionExpo as a new, collaborative and ethical way of doing business in the capital. FashionExpo unites the different segments of the industry - design, production and retail - making them more productive, providing new routes to market, promoting local production and sharing insider tips for small business growth.”
