Gant and Yale University have announced a multi-season partnership reconnecting the American fashion brand with the university where its story began.
The collaboration draws on Gant’s history with Yale and the wider influence of Ivy League style on American fashion. The brand says the partnership will reinterpret archival references and traditional collegiate clothing codes for contemporary collections.
The Fall 2026 collection combines heritage fabrics, tailoring and varsity-inspired silhouettes. Menswear includes Oxford shirts, tweed blazers, chinos, corduroy suits and a leather varsity jacket, while womenswear features updated collegiate staples including a pinstripe blazer, pleated leather skirt, varsity outerwear and cardigans.
For fashion students, the partnership provides an example of how brands can use archives, institutional history and cultural associations as starting points for contemporary design. It also highlights the continuing role of Ivy League style as a reference within American sportswear.
The campaign was photographed on Yale’s New Haven campus, reinforcing the connection between the university, the brand’s heritage and the collections.
