UK brand Ghost today unveiled a new collection created by Fashion Fringe runners up Modernist, whose designers are Abdul Koroma and Andrew Jones.

Focusing on daywear, the 30-piece line is comprised of draped, layered dresses, georgette parkas and trench coat-inspired separates. Designed to be worn across the seasons, its colour palette ranges from natural stone and coral pink to subtle eau de nil and flashes of deep yellow and magenta.

Koroma says: "The Ghost brand has been around for 25 years and has an incredibly huge heritage. Women have always related to the ease of the clothes and this has been the main focus - moving the brand forward without forgetting the past. The washed, vintage feel of the clothes has been kept, but this is a totally modern, streamlined proposition that fuses the Modernist aesthetic with that of Ghost to create a new, fresh voice that has every woman at heart."

Ghost was forced into administration in October 2008. UK entrepreneur Touker Suleyman rescued the brand in November 2008.
