Giorgio Armani teams with Bugatti for capsule collection

New York - It's the union of two luxury icons. Giorgio Armani has teamed up with French luxury car manufacturer Bugatti to create a fall men's capsule collection of leather goods and ready-to-wear.
“It was very natural to come together with Bugatti. We both worship things that are made well, made to last, created out of the best materials,” Armani said in a statement. “The capsule condenses this encounter in a series of clothes and accessories designed to be worn by men who only look for the best and who live an active and dynamic lifestyle.”
The color palette for the line includes cognac, Army green, and blue. It's inspired by Bugatti's horse shaped emblem, which appears on bags' closures, as well as on the blue lining of bags, pockets, and footwear insoles.
Pieces in the line include a coat, a double cashmere blouson, superfine cashmere sweaters, a hooded leather jacket, flocked jeans, a briefcase, belts, wallets, iPad cases, and toiletry cases. Materials used for the accessories include calfskin and crocodile skin.
The capsule collection will be available at Giorgio Armani boutiques and Bugatti lifestyle stores starting in August. Price points for the collection range from 645 dollars to 1895 dollars.
