During the Cycle Show 2009, female cycling stars and leading fashion experts team up with bike brand Cyclodelic. From 8-11th October, Cyclodelic is launching the Girls Guide to Cycling at Earls Court in London. With figureheads like Olympic gold medallists Rebecca Romero and Victoria Pendleton – and a growing awareness of the health and financial benefits of riding a bike – cycling is the sport of the moment. The Cycle Show will host a range of in-show female-friendly features to create the Cyclodelic’s Girls Guide to Cycling.

The showcase will feature specialist talks from experts about everything from the best cycling commuter routes; to nutritional advice for those who take part in competitive cycling. Developed and designed by Cyclodelic Founder and all-round Cycling expert Amy Fleuriot, the various in-show features will address the wide-ranging obstacles that female cyclists face today.

The Cyclodelic stand will be running hands-on consultancy sessions from their stand where women of all cycling abilities will be able to find expert advice about everything from choosing their first bike to fitting their cycling gear to our own personal style.

Cyclodelic’s Amy Fleuriot comments: “I wanted Cyclodelic’s Girls Guide to Cycling to be a celebration of all types of cycling; to cater for complete beginners and fanatics alike. By bringing together the leading experts in every field, from fashion to mechanics, we will be able to talk directly to women of all cycling abilities. The Cycle Show is pushing boundaries with this new programme of events and I’m really looking forward to sharing our knowledge with as many female cycling fans as possible.”
