The luxury brand has begun using the Chinese mobile payment app as a platform to sell items worldwide. It joins a long list of companies that have done the same - including Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton and Gucci.

The WeChat store aims to give Chinese consumers an immersive online shopping experience - featuring limited-edition items and buyers can purchase pieces directly from the app.

Designed by Creative Director Clare Waight Keller, the online store has been crafted with an exceptional attention to detail.

The news comes as the number of WeChat users reaches one billion users. The app is now a crucial tool for major companies building relationships with the Chinese marketplace.

Givenchy previously made products available on gogoboi and Mr. Bags, increasing the fashion house’s relationship with consumers in the region.
