Good orders at Textile Forum

There was an optimistic vibe at last week’s Textile Forum exhibition. The fashion fabric fair matched the record figure of the October 2009 show, with more visitors placing good orders as well as sampling.

Overseas buyers were attracted to the show’s focus on stock lines as well as forward order fabrics. Large export orders went to the Netherlands, Russia, Latvia and Eire. The trade fair for manufacturers, designers and retailers in the fashion industry, attracted brands such as Vidler & Nixon, Holland & Sherry, D S Dundee, bespoke bridal and occasionwear MaryRose McGrath, The House of Edgar, Acorn Fabrics, and regular exhibitor G H Leathers.

The next Textile Forum will be staged from 20-21 October 2010 at The Music Room, London W1.
