Gucci supports Goodplanet.org

Gucci's creative director Frida Giannini has designed a limited-edition T-shirt to support the charity goodplanet.org inspired by the groundbreaking environmental film, Home. The Yann Arthus-Bertrand-directed short film captures the earth through aerial images from more than 50 countries around the world, while exploring the major environmental challenges facing humanity.

Giannini, so moved by the film’s message, designed the limited-edition T-shirt using 100% organic cotton and natural dyes, with all proceeds going to Goodplanet.org, a non-profit created by Arthus-Betrand in 2005. The tee comes with a white canvas bag and incorporates Home’s logo with Gucci’s iconic double G symbol (available from May 25 at Gucci boutiques.)

Home willl be released on June 5th in theaters, on DVD, and on the internet. The film is made by the support of French luxury group PPR, the parent owner of Gucci.
