Hail accessories!

Who better to judge the best accessories that fashion has to offer than the Accessories Council of America. The ACE Awards party was held at the renowned Cipirani's restaurant in New York this week.

The big winner of the evening was - surprise, surprise - the UGG Australian Classic as this year's It boot. Gordon Thompson III, executive vice president and creative director at Cole Haan, won the award for Accessory Designer of the Year. Model wife of hiphop mogul Russell Simmons, Kimora Lee, who was behind this year's diamond-studded pink Motorola i833 was awarded the title of major Fashion Influence 2004. Bloomingdale's was picked as best retailer and French luxury goods label Hermes was admitted to the ACE Hall of Fame.
