The progeny of the beautiful and the famous seem to have a touch of magic in their fingers. First we were blessed with Stella McCartney, then Oscar de la Renta's son made an appearance and now Chloe Lonsdale is out to wow us with her denim designs.

Lonsdale is the daugther of Seventies supermodel Chekkie Maskell and Tony Lonsdale. Tony propelled the original Made in Heaven denim label to fame with his King's Road shop, Jean Machine. The label was founded by Chloe's godfather Tony O'Gorman in 1969. Now Chloe is taking over, but still receives her godfather's advice when she needs it.

"Think of the jeans Jane Birkin would have worn in the South of France in the Seventies - it's denim that is the total antithesis of the American cowgirl, rock 'n' roll thing," the Central Saint Martin's graduate and Nicol Farhi alum tells vogue.co.uk. "It's about capturing the essence of an aspirational lifestyle. It's the subtle differences that make the difference." Besides jeans, the collection also consists of miniskirts, vintage Grand Prix T-shirts and retro sweatershirts.

The jeans will be available in Harrods from July.
