Taking home the prestigious ‘Business of the Year’ Newham College accolade, designer Heidi Mottram presented her work for two days only on 6th and 7th August. Heidi Mottram was awarded for her outstanding work with eel skin and the inspiration her brand offers to students studying at the institution.

The innovative pop up shop offered free retail space to budding creative entrepreneurs in London. The KiosKios is created by Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway, the designers behind Red or Dead. KiosKiosk is based on their own experience of low cost starter units at Camden and Kensington Markets plus Affleck’s Place in Manchester.

Heidi Mottram worked in the world of art, fashion and textiles for several years before establishing her own line in 2007. As a graduate from London College of Fashion and Central St Martin’s, Heidi started her career working with international designers including Vivienne Westwood and Matthew Williamson.

The first KiosKiosk opened on 2nd July and will run until 3rd September, situated outside London’s iconic City Hall.
