British fashion designer Henry Holland has joined forces with sportswear and football equipment brand Umbro for the company’s Spring Summer 17 Pro Training collection.

The collection offers 24 pieces for men and women, combining Holland’s street-style design aesthetic with the traditional football-inspired styles for which Umbro is known.

With both Umbro and Holland harking from Manchester, this is a true match. “We’ve been looking into doing a sportwear/lifestyle collection with a partner and we feel like Umbro has a real undercurrent with a feeling that it’s rising up in the street wear,” said Holland. “I loved the fact that Umbra is a Manchester brand, that it’s so connected to football culture, and not just another lifestyle brand with a sportswear element.”

The new collection, which made its debut at Pitti Uomo, consists of sweatshirts, oversized vests, crew neck jerseys and sweatpants sporting oversized logo’s, polka dots, and snake prints. The collection will officially launch in time for Spring Summer 2017.
