When you're about to marry legendary tycoon Donald Trump, you must never do anything in half measures. That is what Melania Knauss must have thought when the Donald asked for her hand. She went the whole nine yards with a wedding dress to end all wedding dresses. With a 13-foot train and a 16-foot veil, her Christian Dior Couture gown set her brand new husband back between $100,000 and $200,000.

The Dior team worked on the gown for 1,000 hours, 550 of which were spent sewing on countless daimante crystals. Furthermore, the dress took four people to carry to Miami, where the wedding took place. The 'poor' bride was advised to eat well before the big event. After all, she needed her strength to wear the 60lb dress! For dinner and the party after, Melania thankfully changed into a lighter Vera Wang creation.
