howies teepay.com initiative

New tee shirt community teepay is taking the world wide web by storm. Designers can submit their tee shirt designs and if enough people order them, howies will print them onto their organic tee shirts. 10% of the price on each tee shirt will go back to the designer, or their chosen charity in the form of a royalty cheque. There is no cap on success, and the more they sell the more they earn for themselves or their charity.

The teepay.com concept is very simple; the designer decides what they would like to print on a tee shirt and they upload their designs to the teepay.comsite. teepay.com launches on 1st June 2009. To help them sell, howies will also promote the tee shirts; and actively promote individual designs, not just the teepay.com site. The designer receives a royalty for every tee sold and the design rights remain with the designer.
