As part of Coach’s ongoing 75th-anniversary celebration, the American fashion and accessories brand has teamed up with Disney to launch a limited-edition collection of leather goods and ready-to-wear pieces featuring Mickey Mouse.

The Disney x Coach collection has launched exclusively in a specially designed concept at the Coach store in SoHo, New York, curated by Love magazine editor-in-chief Katie Grand, as well as at Colette in Paris, and will launch at Coach stores worldwide and online on June 17.

"Mickey Mouse is one of my earliest memories of American pop - his nostalgic charm, cheekiness, individuality and inherent cool make for the ultimate American icon," said Coach creative director Stuart Vevers. "I've always seen Mickey as a playful rebel at heart and a timeless symbol of joy and creativity. That spirit reinforces the new youthful perspective we are bringing to luxury at Coach.”

The collaborative collection features exclusive Mickey Mouse artwork, which has been specially created by Disney animators, and appears on T-shirts, as well as on Coach leather bags, including the Saddle and the Dinky, leather jackets and trainers.

Highlights from the collection includes a classic leather Coach bag with big, round Mickey Mouse ears, the re-edition of an archival Coach bag from the 1960’s the ‘Kisslock’ and a biker jacket featuring Mickey’s ear silhouette marked out in studs.

Collectible pieces like oversize black leather Mickey dolls, coasters, keychains and shearling beanbags complete the offering.

Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media executive vice president of global licensing, Josh Silverman, added: "This collaboration brings together two iconic brands in fresh, yet timeless designs that celebrate the heritage and style of both Mickey and Coach. This incredible collection is sure to delight the fashion world and Disney fans alike."
